What size of storage unit do I need?

What are the access hours?

24 hours / 7 days a week

Do you have electrical outlets in your units?

No.

Do you offer outside RV/boat/car/motorcycle parking?

Not at this time, but please check back soon.  Feel free to store any items that will fit in units through.

What security measures do you take to protect my stuff?

Our site is under video surveillance 24hrs per day.

Do I need to provide my own lock?

Yes you will need to provide your own lock.  We do have locks available for purchase if you need.

Lease

How long of a lease am I required to sign?

We do not require a lease, but would like to know your intention.  We do require a 30 day notice to vacate and offer discounts prepaid extended terms.

Can I change to a different size after I’ve already moved in?

Yes, if available.  There may be a small administration fees

I pre-paid and need to move out sooner than I thought. Will I get a refund?

No.

Do I have to give notice to vacate my unit?

30 Day notice to vacate is required.

What are the lease terms?

Typically our lease terms are Month to Month for tenant convenience.  Discounts are available for prepaid extended term leases.

I will move out next month. Do I need to pay for the full month’s rent?

Yes.  Rents are not prorated.

What do I need to have on move-in day?

Valid Government Issued ID, Payment in Full, and a LOCK.

Do you offer the convenience of long-term lease?

We can offer leases to meet all needs.  Please contact office for special term.

How far in advance can I book a reservation?

Units are general rented on first come first serve basis, but please contact the office for additional requests.

What documentation is need to rent?

Valid Government Issued ID and Payment in Full

Payment

Do you offer a Multi-Unit discount?

Yes.  Please contact the office.

Is my price guaranteed for as long as I rent?

YES

What are your prices?

Prices are always up to date on our reservations page here.

What if I’m late making a payment?

Late fee in the amount of $25.00 will be assessed to your account.  Any delinquency may result in being locked out of your unit.  Non-payment may result in any legal action allowed by law.

What are my payment options?

Online system accepts Credit Card and ACH payments.  Checks and Money order can be mailed.

Can I pay my bills online?

Yes. We offer many convenient ways to pay.

Do you accept credit cards?

Yes, through the online bill payment system.

Do you offer payment reminders?

It is your responsibility to pay on or before due date.  Reminder will be sent in the event of late payments only.

When are payments due?

Payments are always due on or before the 1st day of the month.

How to rent a unit?

You can rent your unit online or schedule a time to meet at location.  All leases are signed digitally and stored in your tenant file.

Can I sign up online or do I have to meet somebody?

You can sign up online.

What happens if my belongings go to auction?

OPERATOR HAS A LIEN ON PERSONAL PROPERTY STORED IN A LEASED SPACE AND THAT THE OPERATOR MAY SATISFY THE LIEN BY SELLING THE PERSONAL PROPERTY, AS PROVIDED IN THIS SECTION, IF THE TENANT DEFAULTS OR FAILS TO PAY RENT FOR THE STORAGE OF PERSONAL PROPERTY ABANDONED AFTER THE TERMINATION OF THE RENTAL AGREEMENT.  AS DEFINED IN IOWA LAW IN S.F. 163 (IOWA CODE 578A) EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 1984, KNOWN AS THE “IOWA SELF-SERVICE STORAGE FACILITY LIEN ACT.

How long after my account is delinquent will stuff go to auction?

If account is delinquent in excess of 7 days, your unit will be secured by management until payment is made in full including any accrued fees.  Auctions will be conducted at management discretion and AS DEFINED IN IOWA LAW IN S.F. 163 (IOWA CODE 578A) EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 1984, KNOWN AS THE “IOWA SELF-SERVICE STORAGE FACILITY LIEN ACT.”

Do you hold auctions at your storage facilities?

Auctions are held as needed.

What is a drive-up unit?

Units are easily accessible from the exterior with your vehicle.  Allowing for easy loading and unloading without carrying items a long distance.

Do you allow bands to practice at your storage facility or in units?

No.

Am I required to purchase insurance for my storage unit?

We do not offer insurance on tenant property.  You should contact your insurance company to verify your insurance needs are meet.
